Independent Projects - Part Deux!

Today you will be given time in class to work on your Independent Projects with your team. Please use the time wisely. We will be working on Drawing-To-Scale tomorrow, and that will lead us into our Architectural Projects, and other endeavors. - Mr. S

CMS-535 Technology Photography Contest

Every two weeks there will be a new topic to submit a photograph for. All photographs will be collected, reviewed, and posted to a website. Once completed, voting will determine a winner! All photographs must conform to all standards for school appropriateness. You may interpret the weekly topics as you like, but the final decision to post the photographs will be up to Mr. S. There might be prizes awarded to the winners. There might even be some kind of Best Photo of the Year or something. Take your photographs using equipment from home, or borrow a camera from Mr. S.

Choose a topic (see below), take some pictures (NO PICTURES FROM THE INTERNET - Must Be Authentic, and Your Own Work! I will be checking - If I find your picture online, it will be disqualified.)

Once taken, save your image to a computer and email it to yourself. Make sure to save the largest format available, and click the link from the Theme below to upload your image to the appropriate DropBox Request. The photos will be delivered to me electronically, and I will post them on the voting website. Once the voting is done, winners will be announced! Good Luck!

Students will be reviewing all class rules, syllabus, and requirements with their parent/guardian. During the next few days, students will take a battery of self-paced surveys designed to help them understand how they learn best, how they are motivated to complete work, and about some of the skills that make them unique and successful both in an out of the classroom. The following standards apply:

PA 13.1.8A Career Awareness and Preparation

Relate careers to individual interest, abilities, and aptitudes.

13.1.8G Create an individualized career plan including, but not limited to Assessments, Career Goals, individual interests and abilities, and Training/Education requirements.
